Staykay is a homegrown booking platform, localized for the unique needs of travel and accommodation in the Philippine market. We connect students, workers, and travellers to authentic local stays and experiences—offering an affordable, user-friendly alternative to global booking sites. For hosts, we provide fair commissions, localized support, and the tools to grow their business sustainably.

Who is Staykay for?

Staykay is made for two primary groups:

  • Hosts – Property owners who want to list their spaces on a platform that understands local market dynamics and offers fair commissions.

For Guests and Travelers

How do I book a stay?

Simply go to our Explore Stays section, browse listings, and choose accommodations that fit your preferences. Our localized categories make it easy to find stays aligned with your budget and interests.

What payment methods can I use?

All payments are processed securely through Xendit. Available options include:

  • Debit/Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB)
  • E-wallets (GCash, Maya)
  • Direct Bank Transfer (BPI)

Can I cancel my booking?

Guests cannot cancel a booking once the host has confirmed it. Cancellations are only possible if the host or Staykay cancels the booking.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are only available if the host or Staykay cancels the booking.

  • Credit cards, e-wallets, and bank transfer refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.

How do I check in?

After your booking is confirmed, Staykay and your host will send other check-in details.

How do I contact my host?

Host details are shared once your booking is confirmed. All communication should remain within the Staykay platform for safety and support.

How does Staykay ensure listings are safe and authentic?

We work with verified hosts, building administrators where applicable, and guest reviews to ensure stays are safe, reliable, and authentic.

Becoming a Host

How can I apply as a host?

We welcome new hosts! You can:

  • Click the 'Host a Stay' button on our platform and list your unit directly. Our Staykay team will review your submission before it goes live.
